This could be very sweet. I might need to really do this. Especially since it sounds like it will be a lot cheaper than rebuilding the stock motor.

#43, woah, about $3700 extra and I can get up to 700 RWHP!? That would be just plain evil in a Volvo.

So, in conclusion, for about $8000 I can probably be looking at about 400-500 HP in my car. And to think, I was actually thinking about rebuilding and boring out a motor that I already know has very little power. :-P

#46, of course, but if I put twin turbos on it, I would modify it otherwise first. Im not a ricer. I build an engine up before slapping stupid mods on it without thinking how it affects it first.

or if you wanted to go another (much less impresive) direction you can get a new 4.6 for ~$3,300

I was able to find an ad for a good, low-mileage 302 for $400. Looks like this is going to be a summer project for me. :-)
