To see a Get together of candy boxes, bubbles and other cars with big rims and tacky theme paintjobs, all I have to do is go to the local mass on fri-sat or down to 5 points, you know that MnMs caprice on the main page? Thats at a local gas station. Also seeing an actual "donk"(early 70s chevies on big rims with a paintjobs n systems) is not umcommon.

#16, Now that I think about it I have seen quite a few of them for sale. And I agree about the themed paintjobs, they're ridiculous, I mean how much do you love Cheetoes/McDonald's/Arm and Hammer to spend $5,000 on a paintjob? Craziness.

#17 Really? Geez. I keep forgetting how ballsy you can be. Don't get yourself hurt man.

#20, Plus, the wheels would rust after a few years and they would end up looking even MORE like ass, I think I've seen a grand total of 3 lowriders in my life, and all of them pretty clean with just the wire wheels and candy paint.

#22, I stop when I am unfamiliar territory, I tend to be wary about taking pics.

#24, My brother likes taking pics of the outskirts of Detroit, lots of cool old abandoned theaters and churches and stuff. But when people see two white boys with a 300 dollar digital camera and a thousand dollar laptop in da hood well, things can get a little uncomfortable.

edit: My brother's comp is sick but when we get it back I'll upload them onto my harddrive and share them, we get cool pics every now and then.

#26, I've been all over the D and I can say that only a few areas make me truly nervous, but of course there are a great deal of places where I wouldn't step foot after dark unless I was carrying a gun.

I'm still slightly scared of my old neighborhood, not much though

#29, I live right outside of Birmingham, AL, its in the top 15 most dangerous cities. But my old neighborhood isn't that bad, so I'm no longer scared of it, besides the projects, and aren't even that bad.

#30, I've been in the ghettos of Birmingham before. They're pretty bad, but having also driven through the ones here (hell, the TV station I work at is just two or three blocks from one of the worst parts of town) it takes a lot of "ghettoness" to phase me.
