Saw this on the Forums. It was a mostly stock Ford 302 which somebody decided to put twin turbos on. A little too much boost, no?

Somehow, I think this must've been rather embarrassing when it happened. Looks like it cracked the pistons and shot them straight out the bottom end of the block, breaking a couple connecting rods too.

total mess. 5.0s are stout little engines... but with stock internals don't push more than 6-9psi!

Further down, there's a bent rod/piston from an overboosted engine, and another one where the block blew COMPLETELY in HALF.
