#17, Yes. The engine hits horsepower max (193) at its 5500 RPM redline, but hits its torque peak way back at 2800 RPM (225 lb-ft). The powerband on the car goes from about 2500 up to the redline, so it actually is a little bit quicker than the raw numbers would lead you to believe. Still not fast by any stretch, but a stock or minimally modified 99+ coupe should be good for low 15's at least.

probably faster than my '86 SS... I think my mountaineer is faster than my SS - but I enjoy the experience of my ss more

Needs more exhaust flow. I also have this urge to port the upper intake, but that's going to have to wait until sometime where I have an alternate means of transportation.
