#33, more like a list in the redest font color posible.
DON'T upload photo's that you could have been submitted by it's URL
DO upload something that cannot be submitted by it's URL because of an anti-image-leach thingy |

#42, It prevented Adambomb from posting something once, and it nearly freaked out 427Vette--he reposts a lot of stuff from supercars.net, but the original pictures are gigantic, and some of that stuff is from forums anyway, so it would be miserably slow to load. |

#46, Nah, that was the leech protection. He probably saw it on RiceOrNot and figured it was safe to hotlink. |

I'm going to lift the IP ban for now, but do it again and not only will I ban you again, but I will really start messing with you. |

#52, Who knows? Trooper suggested that perhaps we ought to have the upload script check for a "cookie" from the RiceOrNot site. Now, if only I knew PHP. |

#55, Depends on what kind of photo editing software you're using. Most photo editors have an option on one of the menus, which says "resize"; you can shrink the image down there.
Also, since you're probably saving in .JPEG format, you can reduce the image quality to gain better compression (and smaller filesize). Generally, when you click File->save, the dialog that pops up has a button that says "options". With the JPEG format selected, it should give you a slider that lets you set the quality factor. At least, in most decent software, there is such an option. |
