#60, Thunderbird with a 5.0 HO and a supercharger would be pretty scary.
ed: Until you torqued off the halfshafts...

#62, Like a Mustang, only SLEEPIER.
Well, heavier too, but it'd still be fast. |

#67, It's not a solid axle car. I'm sure you could get a 9-inch diff in there, but if you've got a lot of torque to work with, you're going to be tearing up the halfshafts that go to the wheels. I think you can get aftermarket ones that are good for around 3-400 hp, though. |

#69, Heck, it could be a low battery, damaged starter, or any of a number of other problems. Pretty hard to cease up a 3.8--they're generally geared in such a way that they're spinning really slow at highway speed, so they last quite a while (assuming you can keep headgaskets on them, which is less of an issue with the SC). |

#68, Yeah, I know (hence the halfshafts), but a 9 inch would swap in with little fuss. It probably wouldn't even change the appearance of the car. |

#25 my truck was running crappy and it cut off a lot, but that didn't mean it was dying. it was the mixture control valve.
# 70 could be a bad alternator |
