#8, Well... the other NOT also-rans are Renault, BAR, Williams, and BMW (IMO)... they are good teams that do get good results, when Schumi isn't dominating...
...I view the "also rans" as Toyota, Sauber, Jaguar, Minardi, Jordan, etc.

#3, This is normal. GT-Ns and GTs backfire when downshifting. Hell, even TCs do!
I want to have a backfiring car. I NEED it. I was so happy when my car had LPG installed and the garage screwed up ignition timing. There were gentle, soft *pop-pop-fart-pop* sounds. Sweet!
