Might be 5 years. But its that or a number of miles which ever comes up first. And thats why we have lots of supras, skylines, slivias, 300zxs, 180sxs, etc because of that law.

also, in japan, they dont have their own personal garage to work on their car. so when a car is 4 -5 years old, it's better off to sell it to another country than to keep repairing it
