Anyone seen 2F2F yet? I've heard it's better than the original: Of course, the only reason the original was even mildly enjoyable is because it was so bad. Therefore I'm not sure if 2F2F being better is a good thing or not. |

The only modified car SCC tested was the Supra. All the cars (except the yenko) were down on power, which is why they ran slower than stock. Not surprising considering the abuse they probably had.
Regarding their "bashing" of the Yenko replica: They really liked it, if you actually read it. They considered it the most fun car there. And they have a point about all the rattles and shit, you know. There have been a few advancements since the late 60s. |

To clarify the above post: SCC tested the most authentic of all the major cars from 2F2F that they could get. All except the Supra were mechanically stock. The supra just had a single-turbo conversion. |

I'm not sure how I feel about this car. It's deffiantely rice. But it's a supra. Decisions decisions.... um I'm still gonna have to go with a 10 only because of what it stands for and all the rice fanboys out there that rally behind it. Without the graphics and wing it wouldn't be SO bad. I could deal with the color even.

It's typical for ricer cars to make less power than stock, even if they have 5 grand mods. Why? Because ricers will just throw on random shit, they never heard about building an engine using a dyno.

#32, Ricer: "Yeah, I'm gonna do a single turbo conversion for my Supra! It'll have 600 horsepower!"
Me: "Um, you do realize you can make 600 horsepower out of a twin turbo setup, right? And not have the huge turbo lag endemic of one large turbo?"
Ricer: "........" |

#33, So we know that ricers fail to grasp how you cannot build a good engine on your parents driveway, but they also fail to grasp the concept of reliability. Like that guy that argued with me that you can get 500hp out of Honda 1.6l for 100s of miles.
Yeah, back in the 80s Renault did get 1500hp out of a 1.5l F1 engine... for 3 laps. |
