I'm still trying to do the Peugeot in MSPaint. The wheels are making me want to bang my head against my desk.

#5, No, actually in a paint program, which makes it rather time consuming. If I had the luxury of having a vector graphics program, it would be easier.

#7, Is fun. This could've been a lot better if I'd had a more detailed/less blurry picture to start with.

#12, If you think that is time-consuming, you should try 3d modelling. I used to do that, and some of my projects would span weeks.

#14, I did some stuff with a couple of craptacular programs. When I was taking art classes in high school, I used Ray Dream 3D, which wasn't bad for a cheap little program. I also played around with OpenFX ( www.openfx.org ) during my first year in college. VERY tedious if you want to do photorealism.

I did some nice Star Wars themed stuff with it, though.

#16, Yeah, it took about a week or so to build the model. Probably ~20 hr invested in building the meshes and texturing it. Real high-poly model, if I recall.
