#30, ...that is quite possibly one of the most interesting visuals i've had in my head for a while...and if only I could type out the sound I heard in my mental simulation...something like:
Crunch-Scree (Motor tears free)
RAAAAARGH-aaaargh-aaa (Motor's revs dying)
CRUNCH (Motor lands)
Scraaaaape (Motor screeches to a halt)

#35, It runs in the family. My cousin came up with a "pedastrian scare". It all started with his Lada locking a rear wheel while braking. He got it fixed and started to use the handbrake instead. He would pull up to the crossing at about 30kph, and pull the e-brake. SCREEECH. Now, look at that. No peds in sight.
Still, it was a bit dangerous. My way is to slowly (and quietly) pull up to an unaware ped and rev it. Oh boy!

#37, Try it. Just use the revving, not the e-brake. We don't want to hurt anyone, riiiiight?
Of course, the screech works much better than the revving...
