454 and 427 are identical, but either one would rip your face off...

427 traditionally has different acc. placement... I know they're the same block.

You know you've stuffed in an engine when you have to put the fan in front of the radiator, behind the bumper.
The driver must look like one of those astronauts in the centrifuge when this thing launches.

I nearly test drove a '76 Chevette just like this. Except minus the blown big block and Mickey Thompson's.

#16, Well, I needed a daily driver (this was pre-Brick).
And if I did the crap in the Chevette that I occasionally do in the Brick, I could make it fun (like that day I spent doing some Colin McRae moves on the dirt roads).

#17, No it had a hood. But it didn't have a grille.
