#18, Lemming - you're dead fucking on.
2 of my former friends chose "communications" and one was very studious while the other just partied too much. today after graduating, one works as a salesman/min wage/commission, and the other is 23, still living at home with his parents and unemployed. thats the stupidest major ever. designed for slackers and idiots. |

#21, You're missing my point. I don't even know who you are referring to, but in the absolute sense, a 3.2 GPA in what (I'm assuming) is not even a rigorous field of study isn't worth dick. |

#20, again, the fame.
how would it look on the school if they judged him fairly.
i went to a private school, and the jocks who were accepted to big 10 schools coasted during their senior year while everyone else still had full course loads. |

#24, Oh, and just for the sake of log-rolling, click here (I normally don't do crap like this, but you're getting on my nerves):

And I'm not impressed by money as a way of establishing somebody's accomplishments as a person. Let's not turn this into another worthless argument about how much pro athletes and whatnot make.

#27, It isn't ethics; it's supply and demand.
And I demand to know, "Who gives a crap?" :-) |

#34, That's why I took it as a lossless .PNG--there is no artifacting and everything lines up. It's legit, but frankly I don't care if anybody thinks so. |

#27, i dont see how money can be used to establish a person's worth in a case like this.
i'm willing to bet if he was in an accident right now and had his leg amputated, all that money would be gone within 5 years and lebron would be bankrupt.
it's well known that some of the smartest and hardest working people aren't the richest. (this isnt a jab at lemming. i believe he he can make it big if he wants to.) it takes financial intelligence to be rich. understanding assests and liabilities. you think lebron learned about returns on investments and true market value principals in high school? hell no. no one does.
most college students dont. its something you have to learn yourself because its not taught in schools. why do you think some of the people who make perfect grades and get PhDs wind up as part of the middle class, living in a world where they go to work to only pay for their home and stuff, never being to enjoy financial freedom? |
