Good luck getting off with a warning in THAT. That's almost as bad an idea as "Bad Cop, No Donut." People, get an "I Support the Fraternal Order of Police" or some such window sticker, and put it in the driver's side of your rear window. It's worth its weight in gold, when it comes to getting out of tickets.

Nah, I got a better way out, get pulled over while wearing your uniform! The guy just let me go on the spot, no warning, no paperwork, nothing, and i HAD that NO DONUT sticker too. LOL The best thing to do is admit what you did, and don't give the cop any crap, I got nailed for 52 in a 35, didn't try any lame excuses, and he wrote me up for failure to obey posted signage, fine, but no points.

It's largely a matter of luck. I've gotten warnings (no written ticket, no fine, no NOTHING) on a 65 in a 40 in my Mustang, a 46 in a 30 when I DIDN'T HAVE MY FUCKING DRIVER'S LICENSE and the cop knew it, and demonstration of acceleration and 52 in a 40 in my Thunderbird. But I've gotten a ticket for a 78 in a 65 just a few days ago. Of course, my rear window in the 'Bird has several University of Oklahoma stickers, and I was in Kansas... let's see, who's in the Final 4? Could there be a connection? If you have stickers for a sports team the cop doesn't like, you're not getting out of it.

If you bear even a remote resemblence to the last guy who dated his daughter, you are just soooooo screwed.

Good call on that one. Especially since I have this thing for not ending relationships on speaking terms... I've probably got a couple bounties out on me by now.

The one cop I knew had a sticker on his work briefcase that said D.A.R.E., and if you looked closely, it actualy said "Donut Abuse and Rotundity Elimination" underneath, he was a funny guy.

The wonderful thing about my favorite drive, US Highway 77, is that it's an OLD highway, which has been pretty much replaced by Interstate 35. It's two lane blacktop, damn near empty, and I've never seen a single cop on it, other than in the towns along the road. You've gotta slow down and do the speed limit in town, but I regularly run on the sunny side of 130 between towns.

When I get my car running, I'm taking it out to Rock Springs just outside my hometown. There's a road that runs through there, amost always empty at non-rush hour times, 5 miles of flat, smooth, straight blacktop, plus there is wide open farm fields on either side, no place for a cop to hide or someone to pull out in front of you. Think I'll go there to see if I built the engine right or not.

I got out of a ticket by admitting what I did wrong (38 in a 25), and then I started crying and banging my head against the steering wheel... God I'm pathetic... but I didn't get a ticket!

A friend of mine was driving through town with her boyfriend recently and a cop pulled her over for having a taillight out. They searched the car without her permission, ticketed her, handcuffed her, found some perscription drugs that belonged to the previous owner of the car (non-narcotic, of course), fined her for that, and made her pay $50 to get her car out of the impound lot. A

nd when they took it to court the judge wouldn't even listen to her case (apparently in cohoots with the cops). The reason they do this is because they know most of the people around here don't have to money to get a lawyer and fight them, so they just pay the fines and put it behind them.

Around here you might as well have that on your bumper, 'cause you're not going to get out of a ticket anyway. Needless to say, I've got a major problem with police.

I met a cop heading out to el paso on my Katana one time. I had been hauling ass down I-10 (1 in the morning, no traffic, the road is straight as a ruler for 600 miles) doing about 12,000rpm in 6th, meaning 165-170mph. Cop drove up to a gas station where I had had to get gas, take a leak, etc, etc. Looked at the bike, saw me walking up to it, and said to me, "Jesus, you were hauling ass! Where are you going, anyway?" I said "El Paso." He said, "Long drive." And that was the end of the conversation. I was lucky.
