Description:
From our family album (part 1 of 2).
I managed to find a picture of myself, at age 2, sitting behind the wheel of my father's '83 5.0L Mustang GT. |

I wish I had some better pictures of that car. I thought it was pretty cool at the time. |

#2, A little less, but it may have had better gearing, and it definitely had less weight. And it had a touch more torque (245 lb-ft instead of my 225).
Color scheme is looking oddly familiar, too...

#4, He said it used to wind up running at fairly high RPMs at highway speed, certainly higher than my 70mph@2000. Still, I think it would be interesting to see a race between those two cars. Not terribly exciting, but interesting nonetheless. |

#6, And true duals, which (according to him, at least) his car didn't have. :-) |

Still, it was sort of a fun car. We held onto it until around 1989, when we bought my mom's Camaro. At that point, my father had a company car at his disposal, and the clutch on this thing was a little bit heavy for city driving anyway. Also, the seat rails were breaking.. |

Also, I have absolutely no idea who the car in the background belongs to, or even what it is. Any guesses? |

Even at such a young age, Lemming knew he had an addiction to Ford muscle.
Car in the background appears to a be an "X" body Chevy Nova 4 door. |

#5, He might be wrong, but he says it used to hit ~2250 at 60mph on the highway. Assuming (since he had the 5-speed) that 5th gear was as tall as mine, that would mean about 3.73 gearing, I think. |
