#8, Well me neither, honestly, I just made that one up. I figured I'd just throw it in, since I use that phrase quite a bit and acronyms are shorter. |

I have a friend who has a 72 with a built 351 under the hood. Last summer it ran 13.2 all motor. (with a full roll cage) |

That was the first run. The second run that day, the tranny blew so it came home on the roll back.
The car is really heavy. It has a full interior. (minus the back seat obviously) and the roll cage. Stock glass and everything.

My friend has one of these for sale. The tranny died on it. Comes with 302 motor mounts. Beautiful condition in light blue. Darker blue interior. All flawless. $1300 |

The Maverick/Comet gets no love........ probably the curse of the Pinto and all the cars that shared it's chassis OR any similar styling |

#15, The main advantage is that they are really light weight. (about 2500lbs) The main disadvantage is the suspension. (loose as hell) |

#15, Actually, the Pinto is a totally different chassis AFAIK. The Maverick/Comet is based on the Falcon chassis, just like the Mustang, Cougar, Granada, Monarch, Versailles, and probably some other shit I forgot. |

#17, I know the Granada and Maverick shared a platform, but I don't think it was related to the Mustang, and only the '80-'82 Cougar, as far as I know.

#18, Let me correct you, Me From Twelve Years in the Past: The Granada and Maverick are both built on the same platform that was introduced in 1960 as the Falcon, which spawned both the 1965-1973 Mustang and the 1967-1973 Cougar.
And the 1980-1982 Cougar was a Fox body.
