They need a red stripe down the center so we can call it "AquaFresh".

I was flipping channels yesterday and saw a show called "Phat Rides with Funkmaster Flex" or something like that and Nelly was showing off his aqua blue Escalade EXT. The other dude (Funkmaster Flex?) was REALLY impressed with how different it was. Nelly was like "yeah, I wanted to come up with something different, blah blah).

*roll eyes* WOW, what creativity.....looked like shit too, as you would imagine.

#4, "Ride with Funkmaster Flex" actually. and ever since this weekend I have refused to watch. they "hung out" with Carroll Shelby...and called him the "creator of the Mustang". not the Shelby Mustang...creator of the Mustang. Must not have heard about Larry Shinoda...

#6, Uh...YOU are incorrect, sir. Larry Shinoda moved over from GM in the late '60s, and styled the 1970 Mustang...

LEE IACOCCA is the father of the Mustang...he's the one that convinced Ford management to make a "Sporty" Falcon with an all-new body...

#7, He also was responsible for the Econoline series of vans. ANd single-handedly saved Chrysler from oblivion with the minivan.

He's as important to American car history as Henry Ford and John Delorian

#8, ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY.

Henry Ford II is one of the biggest assholes in the history of the car industry...he fired Iacocca because he didn't want ANYONE threatening his power/stranglehold over FoMoCo...

With Chrysler...Iacocca didn't just introduce the minivan, he facilitated the creation of the K-car platform.

Henry didn't learn what a lot of people in history also didn't learn

IF you have FREAKIN' EINSTEIN working for you, you DO NOT fire him!

Say what you will about the awfulness of K-cars, they outlasted all thier competition, from the awfull Chevy "Nova" and it's ilk (Spectrum, Citation, Chevette) and most of Ford's similar offerings (Fairmonts, pre-aerocoupe T-birds and the last of the LTD's)
