I'm just thankful that my paint still look nice*, he was at a car was when the paint came off so you can understand why I kinda freaked out when I blew a couple badges off earlier this year in one. :)

Speaking of GM quality issues, my car has been blessed with pretty good reliability in its life, knock on wood. Almost all electronics work, the Driver Information Center works (though it believes my brake lights don't work because the taillight wiring harness isn't at 100%. They do work but had to have a wiring bypass in order to have both brake lights function properly.) The ride control compressor turns itself on randomly about every other month and actually runs maybe once every four months. The trunk inflator doesn't work anymore because it needs the compressor in order to run. The fan, fan motor, several wiring relays and a few bits of wiring have needed replacement. The original acrylic lacquer paint is dull everywhere except on the sides and is cracking on the roof, but it has held up fairly well considering the car never had a clear coat. The dash cover is cracked in two places from living outside for the past 10 years, but the interior has held up well otherwise.
