I'm inclined to agree with the people that think it somehow went off the road, crossed a ditch or something, then whacked a fence.

completly unsalvageable. Cut her up and sell her for part - if any.

Tis a shame it was an STi.

I had a car that looked like that when it cornered, picked up the inside rear wheel.

the guys in the forums think it fell off a cliff, rolled a couple times hitting the ground, and then came to rest on a bed of jagged spikes (or something like that)

#10, I don't think it's wise of you to call "dibs" on the drivetrain.

It had to have hit something really solid at sort of a funny angle. The frame is bent in such a way I wouldn't expect to see if it just hit another car/truck.

#9, so you mean jagged spikes grow naturally in the wild?

#14, If you look at the other pictures, there's a giant piece of lumber where the top-mounted intercooler should be.

#14, look at the left rear wheel - then look at the postition of the right rear wheel.

I don't think it has it's rear half of the drivetrain anymore.

I think you could salvage the shifter. The rest of the car is just too bent. :-)

#8, and did the car flip? or was this a 1 mph corner and youu picked up the inside wheel with hydralics or air bags? cause if it was a high speed corner and it picked up the inside wheel, you would have spun out
