Description:
Decided to post some pictures of the upstairs of my house. Never remodeled along with the rest of the house, it's a bit run down and we only use it for storage. Here are the stairs leading up to the door. |

I once took a tumble down stairs while already on crutches. Now that's funny. I wish it was caught on video.

#16, There were four of us living in that 800 sq ft. house. >_< Two bedroom, one bath. It was a really nice house, and we kept it clean, it was just...small.
Of course, there was a very nicely furnished utility building out back, with wood paneled walls and a linoleum floor. Half the twelve years we lived there my sister lived in there, and the second half I lived in there.
But now since April of 2003 my parents and I have been living in this damn big old place, and it RULES. My bedroom alone is about 15x15, with a 10 foot ceiling.
#17, in a perfect world, yes. :(

#1, Something interesting happened in that room a few days ago.
We currently keep a large flood light on a table in front of that window, so it shines out on the dark side of the house at night. Since the light sensor in it doesn't seem to work, I have to go upstairs every evening to turn it on and every morning to turn it off. One morning, I woke up at around 10:00 and went upstairs. Although I was alone in the house, I heard a voice come from behind me (I was bent over turning the light off, the voice was coming from around where the pic in post #1 was taken), and it only said one word, which sounded like "Domain". It was a very deep, one might say "demonic" sounding voice.
At first I was curious, and checked all over the upstairs. Nothing out of the ordinary. I started to think I might have imagined it.

#29, One of my hobbies is amateur paranormal investigation. When something like that happens, I try to get a load of everything....if the phenomenon is still happening, if it recurs, if there could be a wordly explanation for it, the time and location, etc.

I used to go to school at a school that was converted from an old mansion and the surounding property. It is pretty famous for being haunted and even has a movie made about it. (I forget what its called)
One day that I was there, I swear I saw a white dress wearing transparent figure moving slowly across the feild away from the mansion. It was a really creepy experience. Words can't really describe the weird feeling that goes through you after seeing something like that.
People have described the ghost before as a woman with red eyes and a veil and white dress. So if its true, it is quite possible that that is what I was that evening.

#32, Where was the place? What was the name of it? I'd like to see if there's any information about it online (the description sounds familiar - I may have read about it in the Shadowlands Haunted Places index).

In 5th grade my mom made me go to this Catholic school because it was next to the place she worked at the time and there was a room where you put your stuff next to the classroom. Well one time I thought I thought I heard someone call my name but no one had.

#36, Well, it's in the Shadowlands Index, but I don't think that's where I saw it:
"Menlo Park - Coleman Mansion currently Peninsula private school - It is haunted by the ghost of the original owner's wife who was accidentally shot by her husband. Students and faculty have seen her in the 'Big Building'."

Interesting. I also found out from that site that Porter College at UC Santa Cruz (The school I go to now) is haunted by a ghost that trys to strangle people.
"Santa Cruz - Porter College - B Building - 3rd floor North of the B building�- Over the years, a number of people residing on the hall have experienced waking up from a dead sleep and feeling as though they were being strangled and held to their bed as they tried to sit up. Eventually the feelings subsided. Also to clarify, there are several other 'ghosts' known to reside in the A building as well, some are known to wander the 2nd floor of A building, and the B-building's "Bermuda Triangle" still holds residents. The man's name who ended his life in the fourth floor of B building's name is David."

I had a weird feeling about this place. I definitly felt something while driving by it on the way back from friend's house late one night. Kind of like a strange lonelyness and empty feeling. It passed quickly, but it did not leave me feeling right at all.
"Santa Cruz - Grahm Hill Road Cemetery - There is a cemetery on the left hand side of the road when going up Grahm Hill road right off of Highway 17 in S.C. This cemetery is pretty strange there is a lot of action going on in here. You can see faces and things moving inside of the cemetery. If you pull into the driveway towards the end of the cemetery and shine your headlights you will see a white figure coming towards you. MOVE! This ghost is not friendly. There are many orbs that you can see with the naked eye and some strange noises heard from the East end of the Cemetery. Faces are seen in the headstones and Dark shadows above them. "
