Description:
I hate Bose home theater systems. They are way overriced and they have absolutely no mids. You can tell that by looking at them. They consist of a sub and tweeters. They just aren't worth it. I find them painful to listen to. |

Im not talking about car speakers. Those are still pretty good. Not as good as Boston Acoustics, but still good.
The thing I hate about Bose home theater is that they are way over priced for what you get. The sub is sub-par and there are absolutly no mids. The highs are great, but I want some freaking mids. |

#14, you mean besides a full range of sound? I just kinda prefer to hear every aspect of the sound in a movie or a song. Thats what makes me an audiophile. Thats why I find it worty it to spend over $2000 on a sound system in a freeging '84 Volvo. If I dont have my music at a quality sound, I get mad. |

#15, Well I want great sound and I wouldn't mind spending 2k on a system either I just don't understand it at all, as embarrassing as that is. |

#16, You dont really need to understand that much to realize that a well balanced range of sound is better than just highs and bass.
btw, I got that system in my car while I was working at Good Guys. Its worth a lot more than $2500. Thats just what I paid for it. :-) |

#18, It is. Everybody is always really amazed when they hear that from a Volvo. I already have 2 sound abatement tickets under my belt. Its a relatively simple system with 4 inch Boston Accoustics coaxial speakers up front in the stock positins and I cut a couple of holes in the back dash where 2 Boston Accoustic 6x9s sit now. There is a JL Audio 12 inch sub in the trunk surrounded by Dynamat to stop the inherant rattling. All is powered by a four channel and a 2 channel Alpine amplifiers fed to the speakers through Monster Cable pushing a total of 1700 watts. The deck is a top of the line Panasonic that will soon be replaced with a Kenwood. Its a lot of fun and sounds great :-) |
