#5, shit line? I hardly think so.
The J's themself are one of the most durable chassis GM ever created - and when i say durable - i mean it's longevity - not it's build quality.
20 years of service for a chassis that could fit one of 4 markets at will - a compact coupe - a compact sedan - a compact wagon - and a comact convertible. What's more is that the Cavalier and Sunfire rank as the 2nd and 4th best selling cars (here) respectively. To use an dated chassis for over 20 years while the competition is reworking and redeveloping a compact car frame - and still mantain high sales - is quite an acivement. The J's may have been an underdog of GM - but they sure as hell kept GM in the compact car game long enough to make even the ricers take a crack at them. Of course that's not a good thing - but it show that sales can be made and that the J's were far from shit. |

#25, LMAO.
These look good but they were awfult to drive. The Cobalt looks stupid as hell and very disappointing. For the price and what it offers, I don't see how people are going to buy it unless its for the Chevorlet name. Prepare to see a bunch of them as rental cars. This thing is going to be no competition. Who ever designed the Cobalt must have been the dumb kid in class that just didn't get it.

I think that by removing the inner headlights we would get a nice front. Don't you? |
