#3, Probably the same reason that one of the leading Porsche dealers back home also sells Mercedes.

Omigosh, they look like toys! :-P

#3, Seems strange considering they're rivals, but let's see what they have in common:

*Both Italian.
*Both are among the 4 remaining car companies that were started by racing. (Maserati, Ferrari, Lotus, McLaren)
*Both expensive.

I don't know why.

http://www.forbes.com/lifestyle/veh...ner%3Dearthlink

"Fiat (nyse: FIA - news - people ) owns both Maserati and Ferrari. Ferrari took over managerial control of Maserati in 1997, and the new Quattroporte is the first vehicle engineered by the Ferrari-Maserati partnership."

Ha. Oh well, I don't follow exotic car news very much...even if I had the money to buy one, I'd get a rare classic/muscle car.

#10, All we need to do is wait for the put period to expire - wait out a year - and if Fiat's on it's knees begging - we will consume them.
