Description:
Justins 1993 T Bird. 3.8L, auto. Pretty nice besides the damage. He got it that way. Paid $1100 for 'er. Replaced the head gaskets, and redid some of the interior trim. |

And the automatic (which only the SCs were available without). Trust me, the AOD in those defines the term "slushbox". |

We were working on a mucho-junky maroon '89 Cougar at the shop with the 3.8 auto. I had the "pleasure" of test driving it last Thursday. I wasn't too thrilled.
Then again, it was pretty craptastic, condition wise. Bent-up fender, faded paint, hanging headliner, smelled like smoke, missing wheelcover, leaking coolant, *very* rough idle, broken grille, broken windshield, and it didn't require a key to start. >_< |

Suprisingly nice cars to cruise around in, though, when they actually work. Just not much power for their size. |

It seemed to be a fairly comfortable car, and I liked the driving position and what-not. I still say I wouldn't mind having one...but make mine a V8. |

If I had the funds and knowledge, it'd be nice to either put a 5.4L Triton truck motor (or maybe the Navigator engine, although that'd never clear the hood) or a hot 351 in an MN12. |

Leave it off. Just imagine cruising down the highway with the whole top part of your engine sticking up above the fenders. Intimidation factor -- off the charts.
Alternatively, you could just put a Lincoln Navigator front clip onto an MN12. ;) |

Oh yeah, and nobody's mentioned it yet...I see the remains of an Altezza'd truck on the left of the pic. SCORE! |

#5, Highway driving in one of those is pretty darn good. It's like driving your living room down the road at 70 mph. :-P |

#10, Minus the dust bunnies, potted plants, and big-screen high-definition television, of course. |

#11, Yes, but with the ever-so-important "lying down on the recliner" feeling. |

#6, I'm building a 425hp 351W for mine. Along with a set of 4.10 gears and a close ratio tranny. #10-13, I just drove mine from Coast to Coast, and it was a very enjoyable drive. Ford did well with the MN12, they could of done better, but I like mine. |
