#19 So, being american is conidered a special virtue for a car?
Or are you just happy about the MOPAR-guys being back on the road with something decent?
I certainly would, and I clearly see the benefits of "RWD" and "station wagon" ;)

#19, 5.6 vs 6.8 from my sources.

And it comes with 225 series tires. That's the size that comes on full size FWD sedans, not RWD 390lb-ft sport wagons.

Skid, you seem to talk out of your ass all the time jumping around in your thought: give a simple yes/no answer, do you consider a 225 series tire adequate for a 5.7L 'hemi'?

Oh hell no.

Look at the picture. I don't know what your idea of normal "Full-size rear wheel drive sedans" is, those are some goddamn wide tires for one.

#26, I think it's you missing the point. If the car came with a bicycle tires from the factory and did not even get up to 60mph, THAT would be surprising. Just like the fact that they only stuck an auto and skinny tires on it IS SUPRISING.

#27, you're still missing the point. its the tires, they can be / will have to be changed at some point. if they are that bad stock, the owner can just have some fun with them and get some wilder ones

#29, obviously...but we are talking about the times with stock tires, and that the hemi did very well despite the lack of traction from the figuratively small tires

#22, Oh yeah, and according to thecarconnection, the 300C will come standard with Continental CH95 tires, which is is the standard tire for the BMW 3, 5, and 7 series, as well as the Mercedes C and E class, and the Audi A4 and A6. And other wheel/tire packages will be optional.

It doesn't say what tires will be on the Magnum R/T, but if you can find a source that shows it will have different tires (or if these CH95s are 225s and the Europeans' CH95s aren't), by all means cough it up.

#30, yes I got that, that was not why I said that. my point was why bitch about something like the stock tire size

#24, Look at the picture. I don't know what your idea of normal "Full-size rear wheel drive sedans" is, those are some goddamn wide tires for one.

They are 225 mm wide tires, that is a FACT.

Putting appropriate tires on a vehicle is not my idea, but here are some examples:

3.8L FWD Buick Park Avenue comes with 235 mm tires
3.8L FWD Pontian Bonnevilel comes with 225 mm tires
Towncar, Impala, Interid ... and many others all come with equal or wider tires.

It somehow puzzles me that on this website, where 350´s, 302´s, 427´s and Hemis are singlehandedly "dropped" into everything not fast enough to run away in time, the simple stock-wheel-size of a car is such a big issue, almost to the point where it seems to ruin the whole car...
