Sony car audio equipment looks great, but it sounds like cheap plastic and does not last long. I used to work in car audio. I've experienced the best and the worst.

The enclosure for the subs probably cost twice what the subs did.

Nothing wrong with subs in general. I want to put a small sub in the Bird'. Nothing like I had in my Cougar (1200+ watt 12", please don't ask why, it seemed like a good idea at the time) just something to add some kick. Something on the scale of what their offering in the Mustangs now.
