#4, just a prototype. they decided to start over and ended up with the 1994 Ram. the grille was used on 91-93 Ram pickups

If you ask me, they shoulda used the prototype style... the production ram of the early 90's were pretty damn ugly...

WOW this is weird lookin'...I had never even HEARD of this prototype...so glad they held off, started from scratch and ended up with the semi-truck-nosed Ram. And yeah, it DOES look a lot like the Ford trucks from the early '90s.

I have noticed that since a few years after Chrysler bought AMC that their products have gotten more exciting. coincidence? maybe maybe not.

#9, AMC had genetic wackiness in it. When Chrysler bought them, they contracted the wackiness. Much hapiness ensued :)

Sidenote...I don't think Renault contracted the wackiness, since they're French, they're wacky enough as it is, and are unaffected by lesser wackiness.

...

What the fuck am I talking about?

#5, the grille was used on the vans, not the trucks. The grille on the trucks was still the 86+ style, just with a giant "crosshorn" grille like they are using today.

#13, I mean the style of grille, but now that you mention it, that does seem to be the same exact grille used on the 94-97 Ramvans.
