I just drove 100 km to bring my dad his Blazer... he got halfway to the Barrie Flea Market in the Cutlass and then it wouldn't start... the starter got stuck engaged and burned itself out.

So I drove up, left him the Blazer (which threw the Check Engine light 5 km before I got there) and rode back in the tow truck.

#1, Archie ( http://stillruns.com/photos.php ) did something similar recently. When I turned the key, the starter would crank but then it would just keep spinning. Quite a noisy thing. I got the battery disconnected before it melted anything. Had some bad wires. Starts like a champ now.

#8, shhhh...tow truck drivers are WAY more skilled than you think. Trust them. I have trusted everything but the altima to them and never been less than wowed

Edit: my dad trusted the altima to one when the altima had a mysterious exploding portenza in 2003

This sort of reminds me of that scene in the original Gone in 60, with the Challenger.

:D

#10, i just remember my friends hated it, my girlfriend fell alseep, and i drank a lot of tequilla when i saw it.

i liked it and remeber it well, i think the tequilla was later on in the movie. And i was free!
