#18, I own a '71 Cutlass. On stock rims, I have 245/60/14's on the rear, and 235/60/14's up front. I have plenty of room for more tire. EDIT: My Cutlass pics are on the forums.

Also, Google pro touring. It's more then looks, believe me.

I never talked against pro touring. Thats all I would ever do to a classic muscle car like this. I just think that your voting this a 10 based on the fact that its been done before and typing in all caps like a retarded monkey on cocaine is fucking stupid.

Maybe, but it's kept this active, and allowed me to kill time at work. I'm sure I'm not the onlyone who didnt give it a 1.

#21, stating you only have 14" wheel only proves my point that cars of this time weren't designed with 17's in mind. my dad's 71 nova has 15" torquethrusts. not much more room in the wheel well even with only 235 width rear tires. corvettes of this time had 15" wheels, agian not designed for bigger wheels. truth be told you could put 17" wheels on easily...with rubberbands and ruin the look of the car. but hey keep complaining about the white trash cragars.

edit: make that 5 ones bio

#21, I have room for 16" rims on my '73 Gran Torino, not much more without ruining the look. And I currently have retarded white-lettered tires on black steelies. I guess I'm white trash.

#29, If I don't sell my car, I'm painting it flat black, drop it an inch or two, tint the windows really dark, keep my white-lettered Cooper tires on 15" CHROME RIMS.

Hey, you go ahead! It's your car, I dont care if you paint it shit brown and get some yellow hubcaps. It'd look better gloss black, dropped 1-2 inches and 17 Torq thrusts:D

I meant gloss, and yes, when lowered 1-2 inches... maybe even 3.. with discs all around..... mmmmm

Original for a '73 Torino that is.

#36, While that looks incredibly good, it isnt original. I will provide this as an example even though I know it is not exactly what you are talking about: http://memimage.cardomain.net/membe...2905_5_full.jpg

#36, Ok for discs all around, but don't lower more than 2 inches, come on !! And gloss black is way too common.. Yes it looks good, I know, but I can't count how many hundred people told me to paint my car gloss black. I was also told to bag it, about a hundred times too. Or the worst, when the Starsky and Hutch movie came out, everybody, I mean, EVERYBODY suggested me to do the same paintjob on my car.. fuck them !

#32, so what makes that different from ricers, craming the biggest set of chrome rims regardless of how they fit on the car.?

#37, Thats a good example. Like I said though, it would be original for a Torino. I have yet to see a pro touring Tornio.

In general though, Pro touring is getting bigger, but Pro Street is still the dominating force.
