Judging by the scoops and soup cans this car can actually suck and blow at the same
time. |

about the mr2 from what im aware of mr2's are mid engine cars and depending on what model u have they pack a powerful punch the model with the least amount of hp was at 145hp i think , i agree that wings are pointless for them to work u need to reach high speeds and i do mean high as in 115mph plus and it also slows ur car down. not to mention that the bigger the rims the slower ur car. |

It's not the size of the rim but the weight. |

yes, less weight is better, but size does factor in. 18 in. wheels means you have to accelerate a LOT faster than if you had 15's. |

True but in most instances if you get a bigger wheel you get a lower profile tire making the same overall circumference. A 215/55 by 16 is essential the same as a 205/45 by 18 in circumference |

a bigger circumference of the wheel/tire will give the car more top end speed assuming the engine has enough power to turn them that fast, smaller circumference combos will give you better acceleration, really depends what you want to use the car for. |

normally i respect mr2s. the wing completely destroys the lines of the car. |

This makes me fucking sick. And the sad Irony of it was this car popped up after I was done rating a beautiful exapmple of a MKI MR2. What sickens me more is that the dumbass owner litterally raped a MKI Turbo of all its charms. Which is a pitty because the MKII turbos are essentally cheap exotics.
BTW boarding00n the MR2 NA (US version) came with 130 HP until 1993. The 1993+ years recived a 135HP upgrade to compensate for a weight gain with an improved suspension (Jspec NAs have about 191 HP). Still the MKII na is still pretty fast around corners and can put most ricers out of thier misrey :) |

If left alone, these are great looking cars. It amazes how people will spend money to make a really great looking car look like crap. I doubt if any of them would actually do any baseline testing to learn that they make thier cars slower by adding a pile of useless junk. The car manufacturers do a great job with these cars. Leave them alone!!! |

Mark IIs in theory have a good cornering capability, but in my experience they're too unstable and inconsistent. |
