Description:
Anyone know what kind of caterpillar this is? These are all over the yard and I've never seen this kind before.

Just a guess, but it sort of looks like a tent caterpillar. If your trees are full of spiderweb things in a few days, that's what it is.

We used to have a problem with bees in our back patio... but since we started letting our kitten out there, no more problem... unless you consider having to dispose of a bunch of bee corpses a problem :)

#6, your kitten kills bees? dont they sting it? i always kill wasps and other stinging insects before my cat tries to eat them, cause a wasp to them is like a stinging dog to us

My uncle next door was burning their nests today with a blowtorch on a stick.....then when the caterpillars fell he would burn those too. Keep in mind this is the same uncle who cut off two of his toes with a lawnmower.

#5, You and me both. I wouldn't mind if we had monarchs. Those are pretty and the monarch caterpillars are kinda cute too.
