#9, You say that all the time - even just because you can. Friggin' parot.
This is not going to put GM in the ground. This is more harmful to Isuzu's NA operations than to GM's. |

#10, But GM has a share in Isuzu. Also, all of Isuzu's lime is rebadged GMs. Why? Because GM had to sell thier castings to someone to gain the money they are losing with each new car sold. Chevy has gone downhill. The '06 Monte Carlo/Impala look like crap. They are wasting their money redesigned the fullsize SUVsa/trucks instead of focusing on the RWD stuff. Also, Pontiac, while getting rid of cladding for the most part, has gotten blander and blander. Buick is now taking the place of Oldsmobile making old fogey cars that no one wants. I hear Pontiac is slowly being phased out, and that Hummer will expand its line. >_<. Enough reasons for my point? |

#13, really? I find them ugly. Also, doesn't the fact that GM stuffed a 5.3L V8 in them make them prone to traction loss? I would think that those cars (any overpowered FWD for that matter) would have serious traction hookup issues. |

#14, well, compared to the current impala, the new one actually looks high-quality and more than just a one-hour throw-together job...the monte isn't THAT different, i guess...and the 5.3 does have a lot of torque, but they DO have traction control too...and the V8 IS aluminum block, right?

#15, I am gradually wrming up to them, but I think I like the 1999-2004s better. I have yet to see a new ne in person. How much torque does the 5.3L make? But still, I don't see why GM is trying to expand the Hummer line, but kill off the GTO/Velite and possible RWD Chevy. |

#12, But GM has a share in Isuzu GM doesn't care if Isuzu can't make money. Isuzu cares if they can't make money. It doens't bother GM.
Also, all of Isuzu's lime is rebadged GMs. Why? Because GM had to sell thier castings to someone to gain the money they are losing with each new car sold.
No their not! That's a flat out lie. If GM was losing money on every new car sold, they would have been gone in the 1994 brush with death.
Besides, the Colorado and Canyon are segment leaders in sales. Despite the 3.5's negitive public responce.
Chevy has gone downhill. The '06 Monte Carlo/Impala look like crap.
Having only seen the 2006 Monte Carlo and Impala in pictures - you of course know that they won't sell.
But of course - when you say "Chevy has gone down hill" - you overlook things like...
= Cobalt Sedan sales set to outtrack Cavalier sales by 72K units by year end
= Cobalt in April: outsold all of Mitsubishi, all of VW, all of Scion, all of Mazda, Mustang, Focus, and 300.
-GMI
Not very wise of you.
They are wasting their money redesigned the fullsize SUVsa/trucks instead of focusing on the RWD stuff/
Trucks are RWD. So the Zeta got shipped to Holden and you think it's the end of GM as we know it.
What about the Kappa? The Sigma? They are RWD and for some reason you can't even see them.
Also, Pontiac, while getting rid of cladding for the most part, has gotten blander and blander
That's odd. The G6 the blandest of the bland is doing quite well.
= G6 was the highest quality midsize vehicle in the 10th annual Strategic Vision Quality Study
= 44% of G6 sales are CONQUEST sales as of April
= G6 outsold both the Ford 500 and Mercury Montego combined in April
= G6 outsold Grand Am in April (versus 2004)
-GMI
Buick is now taking the place of Oldsmobile making old fogey cars that no one wants.
and you didn't see Buick filling the gap left from Oldsmobile since 1997? Geez you're slow.
People do seem to want the LaCrosse. It outsold the Century and the Regal combined by 7.4% versus 2004.
I hear Pontiac is slowly being phased out, and that Hummer will expand its line.
That is why you suck. You listen to the rumors and take it as fact. It's not like Pontiac has the Solsitce and the G6 coupe and hardtop coming out or anything. Sounds like they are downsizing to me.
As for Hummer. What? 3 vehicles and you get your panties in a knot? Grow up.
Enough reasons for my point?
Enough with the bullshit you keep eating. |

#17, you say the canyon and colorado are the segment leaders in sales, but is that the compact truck segment, which only includes them and the ranger, or the midsize segment, which has the dakota, the tacoma, and the frontier? if it's the midsize segment, how the hell are they outselling all the other companies after getting negative reviews from every possible source? |
