She aint Rice. The 5.0 mustangs had more get up and go then any import under 40,000 at the time, too. Too bad they were ass ugly. |

Best bang for your buck ever. Older 5.0 Mustang stock will kick ass on stock or even midly modified rice for less than half the money. Not the greatest looking car on the planet but fast, cheap, reliable and durable. I know someone who ran one through a ditch and barb wire fence and drove it home. Try that with a ricemobile! |

Best bang for the buck ever? Sorry no. Get a 93-97 Camaro Z28 with the 5.7 LT1 with an auto or 6-speed and you will wonder if the 5.0 is even racing. |

SuperDave479, I agree that the 93-97 Camaro Z28 5.7 LT1 is a MUCH better car, but it also cost a lot more money. I was only trying to say that the 5.0 Mustang was a good deal for the money. I own a '69 GMC pickup 454 that has blown the doors of more than a few 5.0 Mustangs. Doesn't mean they are a bad car. |

capri front ends are nice. good stock ground effects. there's one near my house that claims to be a 5.0 but i don't know if they did 5.0 capris... somebody help out there? |
