yeah this car is ugly as shit, but you put some 3.73 gears and she'll be in the 13's easily. The stock gears are 2.73s. And i heard why because of the gas mileage because it was such a big engine. Now these cars are awesome straight line, but i'm not sure about a good handler on the track.... maybe tho.

they can be made to handle real well, but in stock form they don't do so well.

the perfect Rice cooker! What other car has a more perfected aftermarket than the 5.0 Mustang??? you can get hop up parts for this car at any parts store! and as a bonus you get a car that doesn't look like its fast! just leave the body stock! I'd get one of the ones that came with the grey colored body kit! that looks horrible but that's what i'd want!

The beautiful thing about these, from where I sit, is how much of the stuff that got developed for the 5.0 trickled down to us vintage boys. I mean, think of all the internal stuff that got a big aftermarket going on the 5.0. Engine components, transmissions, rear ends, suspensions... a LOT of that stuff bolts right into early Mustangs, or at least is a very minor modification.
