#3 maybe that's to discourage dangerous high-speed chases... isn't that what police cars are supposed to be BUILT for???? cop cars are not cop cars without a v-8...they're rent-a-cop cars. as in Avis rent-a-car

#3, It is a common misconception here that they are s/c or tuned. People barely believe me when I tell them they are stock but slower because of the weight of the equipment. RCMP has full spec 9c1's with computers, shotguns, full first aid kits, defibrilators, flares, reflective signs, jackets, tool kits, radios, lightbars, and all sorts of other cop shit too. And all the shit to store AND the hardware to keep it in place.
