There was an Si model for a while there, but even it wasn't super powerful. It was FWD, too.

#21, Si for us, which only has 80HP or something. Then in Japan, they got the Si-R.

Does anyone notice the flip up headlight eyelids?! I've NEVER seen a CRX like that.

#24, Yeah, that is kinda weird; I don't think I've seen one like that, either.

#25, Damn, that would take ALOT of work to make into a MAD TYTE WHIP, so what the fuck is the big deal with them? I know some Honda guys that are like OMG CRX *drool* Not knowing much about em, I keep my mouth shut.

#26, I learned to drive manual in a first gen CRX, so I do know them pretty well. Great fun, BTW, I miss that car.

#26, the earlier ones had them. Until the '89 restylem JDM/European CRX's had fliplights.

#29, Can the weight REALLY make up for that lack of power? I'm guessing they're zippy, but nothing to ride home about

#28, Like I just said, they are huge, silly, ridiculous fun in the twisties... not that a ricer would ever know after fucking the suspension geometry up with wagon wheels.

#31, No. They didn't. The one I learned in was an '87 with recessed lights, after the facelift they had flush fitting lights. They NEVER had flip ups, I'm guessing this is a pshop.

Edit: Oh, I don't know about the euro/JDM models, but I need more evidence.

#34, really, I have seen a few in Super Street back when I used to read it that had fliplights. I have also seen a couple in the UK with fliplights. I was talking about the European ones and JDM ones. I know the US ones didn't. The restyle I meant to say was the '89 one. Oops.

I didn't really like the style of these first-generation CRXes, but I always thought the later ones (up through '91) looked pretty neat. I'd love to have one, although it'd probably need to have an engine swap. :p

#36, I love the looks of the 2nd gen, clean and pretty. I'd love one with a big Honda 4 swap and some suspension work done.

#38, I was just thinking the same thing. These cars would make great tuners if you had the money.
