Call me CRAZY, but I seriously don't understand kit cars. If you're driving it on the highway and some guy in a Mustang wants to race your Sebring disguised as an Enzo, you're going to do 2 things: 1) Make him think his Mustang can beat any exotic 2) make yourself look like a RETARD

#9, I figure what's better than owning a Lamboghini? Making people think you own one. But if some turd in a Stang wanted to push the pedal to the medal and all you have is your 2.0L Fiero powerplant, you'd get caught with your pants down...

#13, Hah, that reminds me of when I first got my car and no one had seen it. I called it "The Ferrari" and people were like YOU HAVE A FERRARI!? Dumbasses

#14, people are stupid. I had a debate in junior high over whether the science teacher's Supra was a Supra or an F40. Fucking retards.

Some people want the look without the price, and are willing to sacrifice performance. I don't think anyone with a disguised Pontiac Fiero is going to try and race somebody, at least I hope not.

I don't know why anyeone would want to clone a Ferrari 308, anyway. By the time you finish the clone, you could have just bought a real one. They sell all day for $20-$40 grand.

Someone once mistook my brother's 1985 RX7 for a Lamborghini.

I'm pretty sure there was alcohol involved.

My sister drove a dark blue '89 LeBaron convertible in high school, and I remember other students refering to it as a "black Mustang convertible".

I also had a guy refer to my Camaro once as a "white Mustang".

#17, Sadly, it has happened. When my freind and I were driving back to Minneapolis from Park Rapids ( 4 hr drive) there was some douche in a Lambo Diablo kitted Fiero (I think it was a Fiero) that tried so hard to race the IROC we were in. So sad, so sad, especially cause the IROC was a 305 of all things.
