Quality craftmanship there, boy does that look fast with the torn off side skirt and misshapen, unpainted front fascia twice the size of the whole front clip. Not to mention being stuck on a 4 door family sedan with a 3 liter engine.

#3, I think only the 1999 models had 2.4 I4 everything 2000 and past had a 3.1L, I don't know about the 2004 models though.

Edit: the 2004+ models had a 3.5L V6 with 20 less horsepower than the previous body style.

#6, This appears to be a 1997 to 2000 judging by the wheels.

#7, I don't think those are the stock Malibu wheels, but I'm not positive, probably the stock tires though, they look like they're worn smooth.

#9, You're right, my bad, I just saw cheap looking wheels and assumed it was some ricer off brand. But regardless this thing is a rolling joke.

#15, are you sure? i mean the 3400 was directly based of the 3100. they used the 3400 in every other FWD application(minivans and impala). why bother keeping an outdated motor for just 1 car? especially when a one is so easy to swap over.

#16, positive.

the 3.1 was the base V6 in the Grand Am and the Grand Prix too, til the end of the Grand Am, and until the redesign for the Grand Prix.

#11, I believe I am correct, the 97-99 models had a 2.4L 4-banger and a 3.1L V6. And the 97-03 Malibus never exceeded the 170 hp mark until the LTZ came out in 04, until then there was only the LS and Base models.
