i'm pretty sure you civic would still be FWD with a solid rear axel. I love how people think civics can handle...when they are FWD without independent rear suspension. But, i heard the rumor that the new ones 2001+ have independent suspension. Does anyone know for sure??

Wow, my car is the most custom -- I bought all the same custom stuff that everyone else bought and slapped it on my car. Why do people buy the same stickers, decals, and body mods that everyone else has? Customizing your car used to mean just that; making it CUSTOM and ORIGINAL. This thing looks like a freakin' coke can with a bunch of Hooters waitresses standing around it during shift change. Congratulations, you've officially invested $50k into a $10k car. Now what?

aemcivic: The Volare wagon hasn't run in years,is in a field and is used for a storage shed, so yes, just about any Civic should be able to outrun it.
My point is that anyone can pay women to pose beside any pos they like. Civic's are great little cars. They can even be fun to drive with some minor mods. I used to own one with a few performance mods, HOWEVER, I did not even consider racing a V8 with it cause I knew I would get smoked! Nor did I plaster it with idiotic stickers and garbage to try and convince world it was something it was not!
