I'd take a nice 2G Eclipse GS-T over a 4th gen F-body. Maybe not an SS Camaro or WS6 Trans Am, but I'd still love to drive one. I'd even like an 06 SE with the 263 hp N/A 3.8L 6G75, even though it is FWD >_<

#21, I'll take a 6-speed V6 Tiburon over that bloated jelly-platform the new Eclipse is.

#24, I'd take a 2G Tiburon over an 4G Eclipse maybe but power wise the Tiburon's GT V6 lacks horsepower but makes up for it in torque and rpms, I'd still rather have the Mitsu engine but the platform I dunno.

And you know what? I like the new Eclipse!

#26, True. It's also true that Tiburon V6 needs some tweaking to get some decent HP figures. But... Tiburon uses a rigid platform... the new Eclipse is simply wobbly. Ack.

#29, Yeah the Avante is nicer than the PS. But the Tiburon is similar to the 1G through 3G Eclipses what with engine size, weight and power.
