Heh. This was posted only a handful of days before I first got "into" anime, which, early on, did include Initial D. I have Lemming to thank for that series, in particular. He provided a way for me to watch it easily. :D

#42, I can trace my interest/fandom of anime to a specific date. February 25, 2006. Had just attended Megacon in Orlando, at the behest of a friend who was massively into anime. I went because of my interest in videogames at the time. Hung out with a few of my friend's anime-loving friends, and we all watched "AMV Hell 3", which had been released a few months prior. I loved it so much, I actually made a conscious decision that I was going to make a concerted effort to watch anime. Started with my friend showing me some of the series in their collection, first being Azumanga Daioh... then I found a really cheap deal on a full series set of Evangelion, and watched that. Used AMV Hell 3 as a guide as to what to watch. It was a damned good guide.
