#2, damn man, I'm sure glad I'm not paying for this site. You can be a real jerk sometimes. Do you have to be soooo mean about it. I don't post things nasty, those girls had "posties" over their nips, so I didn't think it was bad. You know I've been observing things for quite awhile now and I'm going to put in a complaint to Trooper. If he really wants a site like this to keep going he's going to have to tame you down. There isn't exactly a Rice or not terms of service page to go by. It seems you make up your own rules and judge people by your own definitions. Please, don't take it out on others when you get made at Ambient. I guess I'm going to be banned now for speaking my mind. |

One should expect bare breasts to be NSFW be they painted upon or not.

#3, I personally would've expected him to tell you that it's NSFW, tell you that if you want to post something like that to post it on the NSFW thread, and warn you not to do it again. That was a little harsh. |

#4, how far is NSFW then, cleavage would technically be NSFW then. Should all women be wearing turtlenecks? I honestly didn't think it was too bad because of the paint and they have pasties on. If it was too NSFW that was fine, but why be soo harsh? I've already logged in my complaint to Trooper. Moderators can let people know when something is too NSFW ( I even put that in the comments that I hope it wasn't too NSFW) There really isn't a TOS to how things work on RON, such as not using the reply button, etc, etc. This is a web site that is World wide. What may be NSFW to Americans may not be to Europeans and such, just like Violence is too NSFW to Europeans and not to us Americans. All I'm saying is Mods need to use better People Skills when dealing with people. I'm sure all the "Vets" on here aren't going to keep this site up and running for a long time, you need to attract and keep new people to do that. Treating people too harshly won't do that. |

If I'm not mistaken all I said was you should expected bare breasts to be considered NSFW. Yes, as it turns out this is indeed what I typed. |

#8, I'm sorry Dirf if I over re-acted, but what you said is what I'm trying to say. There is no "handbook" on these things. I know now that it was/ is considered too NSFW. IMO at the time I didn't really think so. Yadda yadda, solid said bare breast should be expected. IMO I think cartoon pictures of nut sacks (with or without a vest) should be NSFW and linked not posted. Sure Trooper may have intended this to be work/family friendly, but is it really now? All the foul language we all use, cartoon pictures of nut sacks, pictures of drunks getting out of their cars with beer bottles all around.....NOT very family friendly. Also, as a Moderator, you should advise a person a nicely as you can be, not just when you feel like it. You are technically a saleman for Rice Cop and it's sister sites and I'm a customer. You should treat all users of the web site as such (except Ambient of course). I'm sorry if you did not mean to be too harsh and all, |

#9, but I really dislike being talked "down" to. It is offensive to me when I'm told this is your "first and final warning" I'm just saying a "Please don't do this again" would have been nice, iregardless of wheather it was "obvious" that it was too NSFW or not. Again IMO I didn't think so because of pasties, paint, and some other things that have been directly posted. |

And 427 Vette, this is all your fault, you could have told me you thought it might be too NSFW. :) |

#14, Look at it this way, if one of the members are using this site at work during their break or whatever and their supervisor comes along and sees some broad with paint all over her naked boobies on their computer screen, what's he gonna think? It's not a question of whether it's appropriate, it's a question of whether it's safe for work. That's why we post gross/sexy stuff in the NSFW thread. And as for the nutsack it was a cartoon character. |

#15, on that note, I'm at home looking at the site, my 5 year old son walks in and see's a cartoon nutsack......what is he going to say? (I know this doesn't excuse me what I did, but they were painted and covered with pasties) |

#16, Just tell him it's a cartoon scrotum, it's just a piece of human anatomy done in a comical fashion. But I can't tell you how to parent, that's your judgement call, if you feel uncomfortable with him looking at Officer Scrotes then don't go on the site when he's around or explain to him what the cartoons about and don't disillusion him. There's not much here for a 5 year old anyways. |

#17, LOL, well, I'd rather my boss catch me with the boobs than the cartoon nutsack :D
All in all, I know that may have been too NSFW, but a simple please don't post this like this would have been fine. I didn't like being demeaned with "first and final warning"

I hope it was worth it. Whether or not you think that your post was NSFW is your own business, however, it is DiRF's job as a moderator to ensure that NSFW content does not make it through. A good policy is, "when in doubt, don't." Although DiRF's language may have hurt your feelings, he was correct, and you were not.
If you'd just taken your lumps quietly, it'd have been one matter. However, you've decided to raise a tirade. Enjoy a day or two of reduced posting privileges. |
