Description:
Fiat Panda. Tell me there isn't a market for a cheap (sub $8,000), fun, innovative, stylish, well built, safe, well equipped sporty European four door hatchback in America. With gas prices the way they are right now (approaching 4 fucking dollars a gallon were I live) I say it's ripe for Fiat's return.

#1, Si mon. With CD, AC, ABS, EBD, stability control, 6 airags, turbo diesels and petrols. All fun to drive like a Focus. Lots of interesting interior features and compartments, too.

#3, Me too! Snicky gearboxes, revvy motors, grunty diesels, cool colors... I'd seriously probably have one and one less MR2.

#3, Dude I forgot to tell you I narrowly missed two free 1200 Mk11s yesterday. Craigslist girl pissed at her cheating boyfriend, got there two minutes after the first guy took 'em.

I had a Fiat 850 Spyder back in the 70s. When it ran, I loved it, but the problem was that it only ran about half the time. And the service department tried to blame ME for the car's problems. That seems like a nice enough car but I really wonder if I could trust them to build a reliable car that they'd back with good service.

#10, I think lots of Americans have had similar experiences, and thats what stops them from coming back. I've read that they have made giant strides in reliabiliy, though. And an 850 Spider is just cool as hell.

#11, My family owned 4 Fiats.
126: rubbish but fun.
127 Sport (1300cc, 75hp, 750kg, factory sport suspension): bucketloads of fun, quite rellible but rusty
2x Tipo 1.4: reliable, no rust, fuss free, comfortable and economical. Extremely good value for money.

It looks horribly dull in person, but I kinda see the appeal, especially with the 4WD version.
