Description:
Pretty much done with my project boosting 6-8 psi on a t3/t4 turbo on the stock m20b23 engine in my 1984 323i. Runs great, pulls amazing, no knocking and normal operating temps.
Scary ride unsure of HP/TQ ratings but pulls like a bat out of hell. Got those puddles under the car cleared up so don't worry bout those haha. Remember to tighten oil lines! ;)
What do you guys think? |

Can't lower it until I finish my exhaust right now its a side pipe straight off the turbo out exiting near the passenger side. Until I install a proper exhaust system there is too little clearence for that. |

Until I get some extra cash to pick up a junkyard hood its gonna be half naked. I don't want to cut up my pretty hood the grey-market ones are tough to get. |

It's hard to see because of the angle; which exact parts stick up above the normal hood line, and why were you unable to route stuff in a way that would accomodate a normal hood? Just curious.
ed: the charge piping and your...air filter?

Did some tests today just with the 8psi spring in the wastegate no boost controller.
At 40mph in 3rd gear when I gassed it I managed to lift the front of the car up so much that I nearly swerved accross a few lanes ;)
No dyno test planned but this is an idea of what I am dealing with if anyone is interested. I am in the process of getting a video of what its like to ride in. |
