side note... dont do this with a lincoln Mark 7....
intake design makes it very easy to suck in water |

There are a lot of cars with that sort of problem. Ford, especially, likes to extend an air silencer into the region behind the bumper cover. |

The only cars that went flat out through this impressive puddle (mini lake more like) were my beater and my friend's old BMW 316. A guy in a Fiat Seicento Sporting tried the same and ended up with water in the intake. |
