side note... dont do this with a lincoln Mark 7....
intake design makes it very easy to suck in water

There are a lot of cars with that sort of problem. Ford, especially, likes to extend an air silencer into the region behind the bumper cover.

The only cars that went flat out through this impressive puddle (mini lake more like) were my beater and my friend's old BMW 316. A guy in a Fiat Seicento Sporting tried the same and ended up with water in the intake.

#4, I did it in the impala and it was fucking sweet! There was a little bit of steam coming up
