#2, My R5 has a big problem as far as the trunk goes, rockers look good. There's this lip that starts to fall off but overall it's OK. Of course, without the lip there's no way to say where you should put the jack just be looking. You have to feel under the rocker for box-shaped strong points. Mechanics are too stupid to do it and I already have a nice piece of the floor pushed up into the car >:( |

#3, *Cringes* Ouch. All the GM products we've owned (save for the ones that were rustproofed) have had cases of either door or rocker rot to varying degrees of severity. My Chrysler's quarter panels could use a good sanding but it's nothing cancerous. My Burban was pretty bad but that's only because the asshole biker boy that had it before had stuffed it in some dank garage for a million years |
