Am I the only one that despises the looks of the Mustang II?

Never had a problem with the Mustang II's looks... its wimpy selection of '70s-era choked engines are what I have a problem with (but who am I to complain, the last two cars I've had had 180 hp COMBINED :P )

I would like to say that being based on the Pinto was bad, but then, these had a differently designed fuel system that wasn't prone to ingiting in a collision, and hell, the first Mustang was based on another economy car, the Falcon. So I can't really fault it for being Pinto-based.

I love me some II hatches, but god damn the coupes are ugly

I actually prefer the coupe over the hatch... the hatch looked a bit TOO much like a Pinto for my tastes :P

But, meh, differing opinions.

my oldest brother drove one of these in High School - it was a piece o' shit

one of my friends in HS had one with a swapped in 302 with some speed goodies in it - wasn't too bad of a car, but I think the gears in back held it down speed-wise
