new $80k VW super car
600HP, 2600lbs, Mid-engine of pure fury and actually afordable. This is my next car if
they actually make it.

sweet car. and a good deal as far as super cars go. $80k isn't bad for this beast.
VW says they will support it like any other car, warranty, full service at any VW shop. A super car for the people!! :)

Its got power and will be cool if it comes out but VW is not a performance outfit. Name a stock VW could actually perform.

I think they should have stuck an audi badge on it instead. I dont know why you think Mopar is unreliable, I kick the shit out of my mopar and it comes back for more. I had a honda prelude for a couple months and blew the tranny and cracked the head.

yeah, except it is nothing like that at all! VW started Porsche....they have won a few races...maybe you have heard of them?? ;)

it is coming out with a 12 cylindar 600HP engine in a W shape. Each side of the W is a V-6 engine. If you guys would read about the car (i posted a damn link) you wouldn't have to argue about what kind of engine it has. As far as saleen goes...this car will more then keep up with it...don't you worry. Saleen comes with 550HP out of a 7 liter N/A V-8...no turbos or superchargers. Let's get the fact straight. Using a V-8 means it is less efficent...have 7 liters means it has more displacment, but stock for stock the VW is lighter and has more HP.

Looks nice but they should call it a Porsche or something. Anything but a VW. I just can't get the tree-hugging Beetle and Minibus out of my mind. Oh and they need to clean the brake dust off the wheels ;)
