#5, IMO even the NSX had a certain feel about it's lines that quietly said "Honda", but the bugeye I hear you on.... that's why I prefer the JDM front.

#6, seconded. I think all car companies have a distinct family styling, with the exception of Geely. I like Nissans mid to late 90s/early 00 stuff, and Hondas have always looked simple, which I like. The later Mazdas look nice, too, although that could be this is coming from someone whose dad has a 3, and whose dad almost bought a Mazdaspeed 3. :)

#7, the problem with the family look on modern cars is that it's too obviously a marketing scheme rather than a clear ideal followed by a design team. Peugeot is the worse offender in this area, all their new cars are so contrived looking.

I hate last/current gen toyotas. The Echo, Corolla and Camry all looked identical at some point. The same can be said about current Nissans.
